Clos Mogador Nelin Blanco 2017 (Garnacha, Garnacha blanca, Macabeo, Marsanne, Pedro Ximénez, Pinot Noir and Viognier)


  • View: Yellow color with golden highlights.
  • Nose: It perceives a complex and intense bouquet, which include spicy and quince notes.
  • Mouth: The palate is unctuous and very opulent. Long finish looks amazing cooled by a balanced acidity.

APPELLATION: Priorat (Spain).

VINEYARD: Clos Mogador.

GRAPES: Macabeo and Garnacha Blanca.

AGEING: Aging is achieved due to aged for 12 months in oak vats, and then 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

PREPARATION: Vineyard located about 350 and 500 meters, with a floor where mostly highlights the slate slopes. Harvesting is done by hand. The fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature in oak barrels and vats.

WINE PAIRING: Perfect to pair with fish, smoked fish and rice.

Yellow and so bright. This René Barbier has aromas of pear and banana.It has a smoky colour.
We didn't pair it well, but the wine was good.
I tried it at a dinner with several friends and I really liked it.
