- Nose: generous bouquet, which recalls ripe cherries and plums with pleasant notes of cocoa and vanilla
- Mouth: This wine has a velvety texture and its finish offers notes of persistent sweetness
APPELLATION: Primitivo di Manduria DOP
VINEYARD: Cantine San Marzano
AGEING: In French and American oak barrels for 6 months
PREPARATION: Thermo-controlled maceration and alcoholic fermentation
for about 10 days with selected yeasts
PAIRING: Savoury first courses, lamb and game with rich
sauces, hard cheese
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18°C

The story began in 1962, when 19 vine growers from the village of San Marzano, whose families had farmed the land for generations, came together to follow their dream and founded Cantine San Marzano.
