Pietrapura Mandus Primitivo di Manduria 2016 is the result of the cooperation between the Azienda Vitivinicola Toscana Rocca Delle Macie and the Azienda Agricola Pugliese Terre di Sava whose goal was the promotion of the local Salento vineyards. They also focus on the native grapes: the Primitivo, which is the only varietal used for this wine. Interestingly, "Primitivo di Manduria" refers to the region and not the grapes, though it is worth pointing out that this area is fundamentally connected to the eponymous grapes.
