“This Pouilly-Fumé Les Terres Blanches 2016 Pascal Jolivet is a concentrated white wine, fine but has also a real character and a strong personality. Her dress is yellow with green highlights. Its rich nose oscillates between aromas of citrus and exotic fruits. It is mineral complex. It is a wine that shows great presence, depth and intensity. The name "Terres Blanches" refers to the clay-limestone land on which the vines which resulted in this wine are planted. Pascal Jolivet Domaine owns 8 hectares in Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre 42 hectares. The House Pascal Jolivet founded in 1987 has become in recent years one of the very best for the wines of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. Pascal Jolivet produces wines typical of the region, the Loire, and its philosophy is to let nature express itself as much as possible so that it can deliver to the Sauvignon Blanc natural flavors, close to the soil.”
“We ordered a bottle at a dinner between a group of friends and everybody liked it.
There is a clear yellow with copper colored notes. It smells a little like white flowers and lemon. Good acidity for my taste.
Great with soup.”
