AGEING: aged in stainless steel tanks.

METHOD: Handpicked traditional fermentation vats (granite mills), with stomping feet.

TASTING NOTES:
- View: bright ruby.
- Nose: aroma attractive notes of ripe red fruit and plum.
- Mouth: Round and soft tannins.

APPELLATION: Oporto.
VINEYARD:
GRAPES: Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão.

PREPARATION: hand harvested between September and October, taken to the winery for foot treading in traditional granite lagares fruit.

PAIRING: cheeses, salted meats, fruits, rich chocolate desserts or dark chocolate.

It has a dense colour. It had a wonderful aroma of cherry and red fruit. Left a warm taste in the mouth.
I decided not to pair it with any dish.
Me and my friends always order this wine a for dinner.
In wine shops it is usually sold quickly.
Highly recommendable this Vieira de Sousa Ruby.
