  • Nose: The bouquet of this wine can be best described as a fruit and spice combo. It has notes of orange, apricot, plum with vanilla, cedar and smoke.
  • Mouth: This is a well-rounded wine on the palate, with flavours of oranges, plums, black cherries, vanilla, leather, pepper and honey suckle. It has great structure and an amazing balance. Its tannins are soft and ripe. The finish is long and juicy.


VINEYARD: Quinta de Ervamoira. The Quinta is located in the Douro region, sub-region of the Douro Superior. The vineyards are located at an altitude between 110 and 340 meters. This Quinta has 150 ha of vines. In average age the vines are around 30 years old. The trellis type is vertical shoot positioning.

PREPARATION: This top-quality wine from the Quinta de Ervamoira is produced by blending different year harvests. That way its character develops in time, with the new wines making it robust and fresh and the old ones giving it complexity.

PAIRING: This amazing Tawny Port pairs excellently with game, cheese souffle, Serra or some other fatty cheeses, and any chocolate desserts.

RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: The wine is ready for consumption and it should be decanted for 30 minutes and then served at a temperature between 17-18°C.
