Quinta do Infantado, what 'domain of the prince means ", was founded in 1816 by the son of the Portuguese king Jaoa VI, Prince Dom Pedro IV. Exceptional compared to other companies Port, Quinta do Infantado always use minimal pesticides. The weeds keep happening in the most environmentally friendly way. Besides Port is also making some great red wines and the 2008 Infantado is the best known. The 2008 Reserve is more than 80-year-old vines. It is a blend of the typical Portuguese grape Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. 92 Parker Points

91 pts Wine Spectator - Ruby colour, notes of black fruit and spices on the nose. Mouth is fresh, fruity and spicy, round ripe tannins, long medium-dry finish.

It was not well paired with fish. It was given to us in a wine tasting stand of fortified.
I noticed a dull colour. the flavour impression of fortified lasts after it is swallowed.

I bought some bottles of this Quinta Infantado Vintage 2004 at Uvinum.
Nice and pretty colour. It just tasted like grape.
