Quinta de la Rosa Finest Reserve

A Vintage Character style blended port of great quality and complexity. Showing beautiful deep ruby colour with plenty of forward fruit, full bodied with a long dry finish. The slight dry finish is typical of La Rosa's house style.

Quinta de la Rosa Port Finest Reserve

We drank a pair of bottles of Quinta de la Rosa Port Finest Reserve  with my friend.
Deep colour at first sight. Very good acidity of this Douro.
This Quinta de la Rosa Port Finest Reserve does not need food to accompany.

To be drunk now or up to 3 years after bottling. A good matching with desserts and cheese. A Vintage Character style is a Port of excellent quality and complexity. Reveals a ruby color loaded with many fruity aromas; It is full-bodied and has an end with good length and delicate. typical feature of the La Rosa wines. The Quinta da Port wines de la Rosa follow the traditional style: Fermented with foot treading in granite mills and aged in vats and casks (oak casks of 550 liters) of very old wood. As with the Douro DOC Douro this house. We seek harmony and balance of our grapes in the vineyard. so they can express themselves freely in the bottle. The Finest Reserve results from a combination with other Port wines in stock. to produce consistent quality. This combination occurs on a regular basis. in order to ensure that stocks maintain their freshness. At Quinta de la Rosa is practiced sustainable agriculture. certified by SATIVA ADVID and entities. The wines do not contain. They were not produced from. and do not include substances originating from genetically modified organisms. They do not use any products from animals. The Port wine is stored and aged annually at Quinta de la Rosa. It is from these stocks that produces the Finest Reserve. resulting from the combination of port wines for several years whose average age is 6-7 years. In the La Quinta Rosa the Port wines are stored and bottled in the Douro and not in Vila Nova de Gaia. as in most houses. allowing a single trait from the picking of the grapes to the wine in the bottle.
