Discover More About Our Products
Messias is one Portuguese winery to keep an eye on. With 200 hectares of vines in six demarcated wine regions, the company is able to produce high quality still and sparkling wines that are in demand around the world. The company began by selling its wines in the local market but before long began to export to Europe as a whole. Now, 65% of the wine produced by Messias is exported to five different continents. All of this has happened since the company was established in 1926.
The world of Port wines has been around for a long time. From among those, Messias Rosé Port Wine is an innovative variety. With Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, this Rosé Port has the soul of a ruby port, but with a lighter and fruitier final product. In fact, the process for making Rosé Port is similar to that of rosé wines. The wine has very limited contact with the grape skins, which results in the gorgeous pink colouring.
Any fan of Port will like this modernized release of an old favourite. When chilled, it is the perfect accompaniment for the dessert course - or can even be dessert on its own! This fruity spirit is an excellent companion for any occasion.
