Port Ferreira Ruby is an intense and well defined ruby colored wine that demonstrates the quality of selected wines. Its intense aromas reminiscent of very ripe fruit, honed by careful aging in wood and the lots that occur during the natural aging process. Full-bodied and rich, has a good balance between sweetness and tannin structure, which gives it unique characteristics with very persistent, thin and attractive finish. Port Ferreira Ruby is ready for use and need not be aged. Serve between 14ºC-16ºC. Once opened, Port Ferreira Ruby must be consumed within one month period to maintain its freshness. Does not require decanting. Traditionally, port Ferreira Ruby is served with creamy cheeses, but also combines well with chocolate desserts and fruit pies. It is usually consumed at room temperature but is very pleasant when served slightly chilled or ice.
