Dona Matilde Colheita 1998

Colour Amber with red and gold highlights. Intense and already with some ageing; aromas to dried fruits with nuances of fruit jam, spices and some toast. Soft, well balanced, with a good structure and long-lasting finish.

TASTING NOTES:
Colour Amber with red and gold highlights. Intense and already with some ageing aromas to dried fruits with nuances of fruit jam, spices and some toast. Soft, well balanced, with a good structure and long-lasting finish.
- Winemaker: Manuel Ângelo Barros Winemaking: Traditional Port
- Winemaking: Traditional Port winemaking where the fermentation is stopped by the addition of wine brandy. First 3 years in tonéis (large oak barrels) and the remaing years in 600 litters oak barrels ages at least for 7 years.
- Grape Varieties: Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca.
- Food Pairing: It can be appreciated as an aperitive or on any other ocasion. Ideal accompaniment to nuts, cheeses or deserts.
- Store and Serve Advices: Ideal temperature to drink 12 - 18 ºC. Keep the bottle laid down the wine is filtered and it's ready to drink the bottle can be kept open up to 3 months
