Azul Portugal Ruby

Ruby red colour. Intense Porto wine with ripe red fruit aromas. Rich and full-bodied on the palate. Pleasant finish.
- Winemaker: João Silva e Sousa
- Winemaking: The grapes are destemmed and crushed followed by innoculation of selected yeasts alcoholic fermentation for a minimum of 8 days malolactic fermentation development under controlled temperature. Ageing for 2,5 to 3 years in vats and oak casks of 630 liters.
- Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca.
- Food Pairing: It pairs well with soft cheeses, chocolate desserts and fruit pies.
- Store and Serve Advices: Bottle should be in the upright position, at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light. After opening, consume preferably in 18 to 20 weeks. Port wine is a natural wine, so it may form some natural sediment with time. Pour it carefully, so it does not become cloudy. Should be served at a temperature between 10º and 12º C.
