It's Vieux Château Certan's purpose to produce wine in its purest and most natural form. From the moment the first grapes ferment until the bottling of the wine, no further products as yeast are added. This results in an excellent Vieux Château Certan 2015, which year after year receives great evaluations and critics from world wide renowned wine experts.
The 2015 vintage has been perfect for the grapes' development and ripening. A cold winter was followed by a warm spring and hot and dry summer. The rather low yields delievered small berries, that were well nourished by healthy vine canopies with maximum photosynthesis potential. 2015 brought a wine that is ripe, tannic, balanced with amazing fruit and wonderful acidity.

TASTING NOTES OF Vieux Château Certan 2015:
- View: Deep ruby.
- Nose: toasty notes, cedar, plum, exotic aroma profile.
- Mouth: ripe yet sophisticated palate with fresh blueberries, fruit of plum and black cherry succulent.
VINES: Vieux Château Certan
GRAPES: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
AGEING: between 18 and 22 months in French oak barrels, 90% new.
PREPARATION: Traditional vinification, with maceration for 3 weeks and between 18 and 20 months aging in French oak barrels.
TEMPERATURE: 16 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.6%
