Château L'Évangile 2005

"The wine tradition of the Rothschild family dates back to 1868, when James de Rothschild bought the famous Château Lafite. But it was in 1973, after more than a family history Century connected to the world of wine, James's great-grandson, Baron Edmond de Rothschild, strengthened the company's properties, acquiring two Crus Bourgeois Listrac and Moulis en Médoc: Château Clarke and Château Malmaison. Since then, the rise has not stopped: restoring rigorously all structures and buildings, and giving via systematic replanting, was founded Compagnie Vinicole Baron Edmond de Rothschild, which, while maintaining a family dimension, opened in modernization and innovations also crossing the French border, to arrive in South Africa and in the Argentine Andes. even the Château Évangile , belonging to the Rothschild family since 2000, has been completely renovated, with both new replanting it with technical and functional improvements cellar, so that today, with 16 hectares of vineyards located in some of the best locations of the Pomerol appellation, produces quality wines which meet the highest standards in terms of election of terroir and choice of wine-making systems. In this light, the wine company constantly keeps expanding, keeping steadfast passion for excellence and it squarely on the bar to adjust a dynamic production.

Château Evangile 2005

Almost brown edges. The smell of this Château Evangile reminds me somehow a menthol candy.Astringent, rough taste.
I am convinced that any meat will suit.
The first person who mentioned this wine to me, was my brother.

Château L'Evangile Bordeaux Pomerol 2005

Sweet scents of violets and liquorice. Quite powerful flavour.
I want more and I will buy it again at Uvinum.

Château L'Evangile 2005

It seems like avery intense red ruby colour. Notes of coffee and wood taste. The softest from Lalande-de-Pomerol.
This Château L'Evangile was very good with the dessert.
Next time try it again.

A red to drink with that special person.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown tinges. Dominating scent of red currant. Voluptuous in the mouth.
This Château l'Evangile was a very good pairing for the desserts.

Château l'Evangile Château L'évangile 2017
The Château l'Evangile Château L'évangile has a red cherry colour. Great smell of chocolate coulant.I had it cooled and it tasted both, fresh and soft.
Suitable for a menu as varied as we had.
I drank with my partner.
