Château La Conseillante 2009

Jean-Michel Laporte describes his 2009 as 'a real Conseillante' soft, silky, long and sopisticated.

The wine brims with elegant damson fruit, an intriguing note of eucalyptus and wave upon wave of multi-layered complexity. A higher than usual addition of Cabernet Franc in the blend (19%) has resulted in beautiful freshness, with ultra-fine tannins and a delicious, crunchy finish.

This is clearly one of the top wines of the vintage.

Château la Conseillante Pomerol 2009

Eye-catching cherry colour with a low layer. The main aromas were coffee and wood.It is a fleshy wine from Château La Conseillante.
We paired it with a wide range of tapas.
I drank it with my brothers and a friend of mine.

Château la Conseillante Pomerol 2009

I took the Château la Conseillante Pomerol with my couple in a romantic plan.
Bright cherry colour, high layer. Strong smell of berries. It is voluptuos, with body.
I definetely wouldn't pair this wine with fish dishes.

We drank it at a meeting with friends.
Red intense cherry colour and very high layer. Smelling it, I noticed the aromas of blackberries. A surprisingly fresh wine.
I took it with an octopus and liked it.

We drank it with appetizers. We drank this wine with friends.
Dark red colour, reddish brown edges. It smelled of oak. Fleshy. Chocolate coulant taste.

Château La Conseillante is the first wine I drank with my parents.
The sight, intense cherry. Toffee notes can be appreciated. Smoky notes in the mouth.
Is to be drunk with food.
