First founded in 1871, the Sartirano family's wine business only started to develop the domestic market outside Piemonte in Italy in the 1950's, selling their wines in 54L barrels.
In 1970 the family decided to bottle its wines and installed its first bottling line. San Silvestro produce great quality wines, typical of the region and competitively priced from their own grapes.
