Intense ruby red colour, high layer. Scents of raspberry. A shame it tasted corky.
To enjoy between meals.
The Château Picque Caillou is a familiar wine of Château Picque Caillou.

Reviews of other vintages of Château Picque Caillou 201420172016

4/5

I drank with my partner.
Colour of glacé cherry. It resembles a red fruit compote. This Pessac-Léognan tasted like what it has to be, that is grapes.
We drank it just like that, without any food pairing.

4/5

It was an excellent accompanist for the main course. We drank the whole bottle at once with friends and a good conversation.
The colour of this 2016 seems darker than other vintages. I was explained that this wine smells like acacia flower. I liked its density.
