Château Olivier 2013

The domain belongs to the Bethmann family since the nineteenth century. Located in the heart of a vast wooded area in the Bordeaux region, the Château Olivier boasts a rich and diverse terroir. Indeed, he has the rare distinction of being provided with excellent terroirs for red wine and for white wine. Rigor in the vineyard, the winery detail are the hallmarks of this grand cru since 1953.

The 2013 is a beautiful pale yellow color. The nose is very expressive with aromas of peach vines and white flowers. The palate is complex and balanced with exotic fruit flavors and a velvety texture. Nice acidity that gives an incredible length in the mouth and a beautiful structure.

You can find it online on Uvinum.
The normal colour, deep yellow. On the nose, white fruits noticeable. Fleshy, smoothy.

I do not know where I bought it.
Intense colour at sight. Over all, the Château Olivier Blanc reminded me of white flowers. It felt like the typical astringency from Château Olivier.

I like it with the meat we ate. I drank it alone.
The normal colour, deep yellow. It brought back neat memories of daffodil. Balanced in the mouth.

Perfect with manchego cheese. The best  to enjoy with friends.
Typical opacity of a Château Olivier. On the nose daffodil is especially noted on this Château Olivier Blanc. Too watery in the mouth.

This is the wine recommended at the restaurant I usually go.
A dark yellow . Flavours of citrus, lemon and grapefruit. It's a white with a light flavour.
