Vilarnau Rose Delicate Reserva (Trepat)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: cava is a pale pink with bright flashes of violet framed in a dark edge.
- Nose: very intense and a great aromatic complexity. On the nose, it offers the primary aromas characteristic of a delicate pink cava. It shows the subtlety of violets and roses in combination with ripe red berries: strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
- Mouth: is soft, very creamy, fresh and elegant.
APPELLATION: Cava.
VINEYARD: Winery Vilarnau.
GRAPES: 85% Grenache 15% Pinot Noir.
AGEING: more than 15 months in bottle.
PREPARATION: musts Grenache and Pinot Noir are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C for 30 days. Subsequently, the blend is made and the resulting wine is bottled to start the second fermentation, which lasts approximately six weeks and takes place in underground cellars at a constant 15 ° C. Once you finished the second fermentation, the cava remains in contact with the yeast for a minimum of 15 months.
WINE PAIRING: As an aperitif, with rice and pasta or accompanying creamy desserts.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 6-8 ° C
