Sumarroca Chardonnay 2018 (Chardonnay)
- View: pale yellow, greenish reflections. Clean and bright.
- Nose: delicate aroma of fresh fruit, such as vine peach, apricot and pineapple.
- Mouth: soft and creamy, very fruity and fresh input. Good structure and very long and fruity finish.
VINEYARD: Name: Parcelas La Mariana and L'Esclopé. Planted in the 80s and 90s respectively. very poor and with a slightly higher concentration of ferric clay soil.
AGEING: rest in stainless steel tanks.
PREPARATION: Separate vinification of the two plots, since there is a differential maturation about 5 days. After reception of the grapes in the winery, performing a temperature drop to 10 °C to avoid oxidation and to perform the static settling for 24 hours. After racking, fermented at 14 °C for 17 days.
PAIRING: cooked seafood, little spicy salads, baked white fish, beef and cream cheese.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 7-10ºC
