Perfum de Vi Blanc 2015 is a young white wine, without breeding, with a surprising combination between the sweet taste of the Muscat de Frontignan and the freshness of the Maccabean. Made by the Raventós i Blanc winery, whose project is the result of a great passion, which turned real in 1984, it is based on a tradition that has lasted for generations. The cellar, located in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, belongs to the Raventós family since 1497. A light and unctuous white to be drank along with delicatessen bites such as foie or cheese... Delicious!

Elaboration of Perfum de Vi Blanc 2015
Perfum de Vi Blanc 2015 (Macabeo, Moscatel and Muscat)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: nice yellow, gold and brilante.
- Nose: notes of ripe white fruit, floral background. Mineral aromas and aniseed. Complex.
- Mouth: large, powerful and tasty. Light and creamy. Good acidity and mineral finish, not too long.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Penedes
VINEYARD: Raventos i Blanc
GRAPES: 60% Macabeo, Muscat (Muscat) 40%.
DEVELOPMENT AND AGING: The grapes are harvested manually and the 2 varieties used for wine (Macabeo and Moscatel de Grano Menudo) are pressed slowly and low pressure separately. A static racking at low temperature, followed by the alcoholic fermentation, which is carried out in stainless steel at a controlled temperature is then produced.
WINE PAIRING: appetizers, salads, smoked foie, rice, fish and seafood.

Raventos i Blanc Caves were founded by Josep Maria Raventos i Blanc in 1986. These 90 acres were handed down from generation to generation for over 500 years of history. It was just Josep Raventos, who in 1872 made the first dig in Spain and therefore the Raventos family is a driver of cava and the denomination in this country.

A Macabeo with a very dense colour. It smells of lemon and apple. I noticed a smoky flavour.
The Macabeo had a very deep color. Smells really good, like fresh lemons. The flavour remained for a long time.
We enjoyed with a delicious Chinese rice.
Het heeft een diepe goudgele kleur. Ik ben geen expert op bloemen, maar de Perfum deed me denken aan narcis. Het had een gebrek omdat het rook naar kurk.
