Description of Bach Extrísimo Semi Dulce 2018
Bach Extrísimo Semi Dulce 2018
- View: lemon yellow, intense green hues. Very bright and crisp.
- Nose: Intense aroma, yellow and white fruit (apple, pear, pineapple and citrus) with a subtle floral perfume.
- Mouth: Large, fresh and fruity (citrus and white fruit) input intensive. Long persistence with a nice floral final note.
GRAPES: Chardonnay, Xarel.lo and Moscatel.
PREPARATION: Traditional vinification: after stemming and crushing, cooling and clarified wort preparation for alcoholic fermentation developed 16º controlled temperature for approximately 15 days. Varieties vinified separately, allowing for the most harmonious blend for Extrísima Seco Vineyard. Mixed, clarified and stabilized, preserved in stainless steel tanks until the time of embotelado.
WINE PAIRING: appetizers, seafood, shellfish, fish and white meats.
The history of Bach takes us back to 1915 when the brothers Pere and Ramón Bach i Escopet moved to Sant Esteve Sesrovires from Barcelona and purchased the "Can Estrada" estate, which dates back to the XVIII century. Thanks to the revenues they obtained from the cotton trade, the Bach brothers were able to invest in starting up a winery which they gradually extended, buying up new plots until they amassed a total of 365 hectares.
