Bach Extrisimo Semi Dulce 2014 (Macabeo and Xarel·lo)
TASTING NOTES OF Extrissim Bach Blanc Dolç 2014:
- View: Brilliance and clarity. Yellow with golden tones.
- Nose: Intense and persistent. Complex fruity and floral aroma with notes of chamomile, acacia and honey. Rounded with fine wood and toffee notes.
- Mouth: good entrance, with weight and structure. Sweetness and acidity in balance. Light touch of wood. Full mouth that lasts over time.
APPELLATION: Penedes
VINEYARD: Bach
GRAPES: Xarel·lo and Macabeo.
AGEING: Young wine, not aged.
WINE PAIRING: perfect for pastries, foie and blue cheeses. Also a good accompaniment to appetizers, seafood and fish stews.

The Winery
Bach

The history of Bach takes us back to 1915 when the brothers Pere and Ramón Bach i Escopet moved to Sant Esteve Sesrovires from Barcelona and purchased the "Can Estrada" estate, which dates back to the XVIII century. Thanks to the revenues they obtained from the cotton trade, the Bach brothers were able to invest in starting up a winery which they gradually extended, buying up new plots until they amassed a total of 365 hectares. The 1920 harvest, made up of the Xarel·lo and Macabeo varietals, marked the long awaited inauguration of Bach
