This dry white wine is a blend of Vermentino and Grenache grapes which reveals fresh and zesty aromas of apple and lemon, followed by a stone fruit taste on the palate. While ideal as an apéritif, you can also enjoy Le Grand Duc with salads, light cheeses, grilled fish, and seafood. You could also try it with glass noodles with salmon, chilli, and coriander.
Le Grand Duc gets its name from the large and powerful eagle-owl often found hunting for small mammals in many French vineyards. Majestic and barrel-shaped, the commanding aristocratic presence of the bird leads to its nickname, The Grand Duke
