Echo de Lynch-Bages 2015

Wine Echo Lynch Bages The wine is in balance and power. The color is deep, and the nose shows a solar vintage, remarkably mature on cassis and black fruits. In the mouth the attack is fresh, creamy and fleshy tannins are required by their density and fineness. Rich and opulent, stressed by refreshing acidity that gives it a perfect balance, the final of incredible length. Domaine Château Lynch-Bages The history of Château Lynch-Bages is closely linked to that of the Lynch family, of Irish descent, who settled in the Gironde in the late seventeenth century. Thomas Michel Lynch takes possession of the area in 1749 through his wife, Elisabeth Drouillard, jurat the daughter of Bordeaux wine merchant Pierre Drouillard. In 1779, Thomas Michael Lynch bequeathed the Château Lynch-Bages to his son Jean-Baptiste, who too busy with his political career, leaving his brother Michael the privilege of administering the property and oversee the production of his wine. The Lynch family separates raw in 1824. The latter is then taken over by the family Jurine then in 1865 by Maurice and Henri Cayrou traders, whose descendants retain until 1939. That year, the Great Fifth Cru Classé of Pauillac was bought by Jean-Charles Cazes, who worked there as a farmer on behalf of the owner, General Félix de Vial. Under the direction of the Cazes family, the vineyard of Château Lynch-Bages extends considerably, some of it even being reserved to the production of a white wine, created in 1990. I drank it at a bar in Pauillac.
This red one was lighter that I had expected. Good coffee aromas. Oily wine with red fruit flavours.

Echo Lynch Bages 2013
Echo de Lynch Bages 2013 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It is characterized by aromas of blackberry and currant, with a peppery nuances. On the palate, the tannins are fine and silky texture. We find a nice complexity and a long finish with notes of fruit rouges.Boire or keep: 2016-2020

Although the Echo de Lynch-Bages is from the youngest vines of the field, the vinification and aging happen identically between the two wines of this castle. The first is high in stainless steel tanks and the second in barrels.
The color is purple with purple highlights.
His nose is seductive with its aromas of crisp fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant) with a slight peppery note.
On the palate, the attack is fresh. This vintage is round and soft with round tannins and purposes. On the palate it has a silky texture that caresses our palate. The finish is tasty and perfect length.
A wine with great potential!

Château Lynch Bages Echo 2014
Dark red colour. Concentrated aroma of red fruit jam.Sweet and tasty.
I had it with fish, but I didn't like the fish, and therefore the wine didn't taste right.
We drank it at a meeting with friends.

Château Echo Lynch Bages 2012
We tested it in a dinner Party.
Very dark Bordeaux colour. Smell of gooseberries. I enjoyed it quite long after tha last sip.
Best paired with other food than the one we ordered.
