Château Pontet-Canet Pontet Canet 2013

The Pauillac combine finesse and tannic power and exceptional aging potential. Such wines can face strong taste dishes such as venison, red meat, preparations of mushrooms or foie gras.

Château Pontet-Canet Pontet Canet 2013

I got in touch with Château Pontet-Canet and they sent me to a store where they sold it.
At sight, it offered an intense cherry colour. It has a strong caramel smell. Sweet and tasty.

Saint Julien Château Pontet Canet 5. Cru Classé 2013

It is better not to pair this with food, as otherwise its fabulous taste might not be appreciated adequately. I tried it at a dinner with several friends and I really liked it.
Nice red Bordeaux colour. Smells like red tea. It tasted a lot like wine.

If descendants will acquire nearby vineyards of the locality Canet. After belonging to the Cruse family for 110 years, Pontet Canet is now owned by Guy Tesseron Cognac producer.

The 80 hectares of vineyards are located south of Mouton Rothschild and Armailhac on serious ridges Garonne. The planting of the vineyard is composed of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.

The wines are vinified for nearly 4 weeks period may vary depending on the variety, the plot and the age of the vines. Directly put in barrels (60% new), they will be high for 16 to 20 months.

This 2012 vintage is brilliant, a remarkable and captivating fruity. Pontet Canet offers incredible purity and will once again must.

Pontet Canet Pauillac 2017
I tried it during a wine tasting.
Violet red colour of a young wine. Smells of wood. It wasn't too sweet, it liked me.
Pontet Canet Pauillac pairs very well with a spicy fish .

Very light flavour. It uncurtains a scent of red and yellow roses.Well-balanced, with a good end.
A wine to be paired with "Tapas".
An ideal wine to give as gift.
