Elaboration of Château Mouton Rothschild Double Magnum 2010

Château Mouton Rothschild Double Magnum 2010 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot)

Our opinion: Château Mouton Rothschild 2010 is excellent with a density of extraordinary purity.

TASTING NOTES Château Mouton Rothschild 2010:

  • View: The color is still dense and deep, the concentration of coloring matter is important. One detects signs of garnet, signs of good progress.
  • Nose: The nose shows notes of black cherry, blueberry and blackberry persistent with complex aromas and truffle foam, is also an elegant woodsy aroma.
  • Mouth: The palate is powerful, tannins marked by excellence, rich and dense, based on the aromatic characters well developed where there are flavors of vanilla, toast and licorice. You will have to finish developing its breadth and volume, the richness of this powerful time.

I accompanied the 2010 with steamed vegetables. I tried it on a tasting course.
Very light flavour. Smelled soft, like cinnamon and vanilla . This Château Mouton Rothschild Double Magnum is a wine with good acidity.

The matches quite good with game meats. It was a birthday present for my friend.
Red almost purple colour. Surprising the smell of strawberries of this Château Mouton Rothschild. Very rough on the palate.

I had the pleasure of taking it at a barbecue. I opened this wine with my best friend.
The Château Mouton Rothschild Double Magnum has a red cherry colour. You can really feel the vanilla smell. It was a surprising wine.

Not suitable for a menu as varied as we had. I tried it on a tasting course.
Cherry colour, as they all are. Strong smell of violets, it seemed odd. An oil-textured wine.
