TASTING NOTES OF Château Mouton Rothschild 2014:
- View: red marking, purple hues.
- Nose: fine, elegant, ripe fruit, spice and vanilla notes.
- Mouth: velvety attack, ripe, unctuous, silky tannins and firm mouth, a silky texture, a touch of minerality.
APPELLATION: Pauillac.
VINEYARD: Château Mouton Rothschild
GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon 81%, Merlot 16% and Cabernet Franc 3%.

Location: Chateau Mouton Rothschild has a total area of magnificent vineyards on the slopes leading down to the Gironde estuary. Mouton Rothschild is northwest of Pauillac.

Intense ruby tone. Strong smell of berries. Softer than 2016.
Too acidic for me.
Brillant ruby red colour, high layer. It smelled of oak. Well-balanced, with a good end.
Zo op het oog intens kersenrood van kleur. Rijke geuren van gedroogde vruchten. Eigenlijk had het geen speciale smaak.
