Description of Château Mouton Rothschild 2009
Château Mouton Rothschild 2009 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot)
An attractive deep red garnet. The wine reveals a complex range of aromas in which red fruit, raspberry and wild blackberry are combined with spices, white pepper and vanilla, plus some toasted, moderate toasted oak notes. Elegant and well structured, the nose is augmented by notes of incense and candied fruits. The attack and elegance on the palate are prolonged tannin rich flavor. Full in the mouth, creamy and powerful.
Pairing: Pairs well with game dishes, especially wild boar served with fruit sauces.

More about the WineryReviews of Château Mouton Rothschild 2009
Intense ruby tone. Strong smell of berries. Softer than 2016.
Too acidic for me.
Its intense colour attracted me. Fine aromas of raisins. It wasn't at its optimal service temperature, it would have tasted better if so.
