TASTING:

  • Nose: Highly refined nose rather typical of Cabernet with aromas of blackcurrant, cedarwood along with caramel and stewed fruits
  • Palate: The attack is lush, well-rounded tannins. Fruit flavours rubs shoulders with spice, havana cigar and eucalyptus. The finish is expressive, long and powerful, harmonious and silky.

In 1863, Baron Nathaniel Rothschild bought and changed from Château Mouton Pauillac to Château Mouton Rothschild.
