Château Mouton Rothschild 1976 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Château Mouton Rothschild 1976 has a strong beautiful copper color with orange reflections.
- Nose: The nose is fine and cool with a lovely lingering fruity, black cherry, licorice and candied fruit, but also kirsch, graphite and chocolate, which gives it complexity and expression of the aromas.
- Mouth: The palate is round and fleshy, with spicy tannins are coated with a still very present material; in perfect harmony with this structure, a multitude of flavors with hints of cashew, coffee, spices, incense and leather developing a rich and balanced taste of great originality.

History will remember the year 2013 an unstable and unpredictable weather. A cold and wet winter followed by a cool, rainy spring, causes a delay of the vegetative cycle and disrupts flowering.
In sharp contrast, July and August are particularly hot and sunny with significantly lower than average rainfall. heat peaks at 38 ° C cause of severe thunderstorms late July.
September remains in water deficit and favors a uniform ripeness of the berries. The Cabernets are promising. The grapes reached incredible sugar with good potential acidity.
The harvest of Mouton Rothschild is conducted in record time, from 30 September to 9 October, with outstanding staff assistance of Baron Philippe de Rothschild was asked to reinforce the troops pickers.
