The Château Lynch Bages 2008 is an outstanding red wine made by Château Lynch Bages, only created in good vintages. This noble drink is one of the great from Pauillac and adds to the elite of the Grand Cru Classé wines. Its high quality is undeniable. Wine experts like Jancis Robinson, Robert Parker or Hachette gave very high evaluations and promoted the Château Lynch Bages 2008 into the wine aristocracy. The harvest took place completely manually between the 25th of September and the 10th of October 2008. The grapes were then selected very carefully. In order to get the best out of this red, enjoy the Château Lynch Bages 2008 from 2011 until 2030, with good storage also until 2035. Once opened, however, you should drink it in the next few days. After such a long time in the bottle, you should give the wine a nice decanting period in the carafe. Only this way, you'll enjoy all its elegant aromas which represent this Grand Cru Classé.

Château Lynch Bages 2008 is sublime

- View: dark, discreet nose, but pure and fresh

Rating: 16, 5/20
Since the simultaneous arrival in 2006 of Jean-Charles Cazes and Nicolas Labenne, new director, believed subtly changing profile and returns to a higher level

More green jobs, more plot selection, creating a generic wine, a reflection on mass selection and rescue of Petit Verdot reflect this extra attention
In fact, the wine seems both more open and more accurate
A little more pure than usual
Fleshy on the attack, very tasty and full, it grows aromatic, flavorful, round tannins
tasty and powerful length
All is fresh and rather dense for the year
The end of the harvest took place prior to the frost of October 19
Blend 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot
The wine is now done in 75% new oak.

Reviews about Château Lynch-Bages 2013

This vintage 2013 offers a nice quality. The wine shows a dark red shiny colour. On the nose it is characterised by aromas of black fruits like blackcurrant and blackberry. We also notice notes of toast offering a nice complexity. It is particularly dense and concentrated on the mouth. Balance is perfectly mastered. It expresses on ripe fruits and an elegant woody note. The tannin structure is remarkable, dense and silky. A wine also offering a fine length.

Reviews about Château Lynch-Bages 2011

Located at Pauillac on the ancient villages of Bages, former property of the Lynch family, the 5th Cru Château Lynch-Bages has been for three generations in the hands of the Cazes family that manages its business with great success. On the 90 hectares of pebbles facing the Gironde, Jean-Charles Cazes, grows the majority of the Cabernet Sauvignon to a height, because of which they have been compared to several premier wines. Lynch-Bages is today a reference of the Bordeaux wine, always robust, which makes it difficult for an amateur to not possess several bottles well hidden.

The Château Lynch-Bages experiences several great success stories. After an excellent 2010 vintage, the 2011 proves once again the great quality of this Cru.

The robe of this vintage ist profound, intense and shimmery. The nose surprises with great freshness and intense scents of black berries.
The amateurs of the Cru will get once again their money's worth, with a pure wine and its fine, generous texture and elegant tannins.
The long-lasting finale explodes on fruits and a fine acidity.

Exposed in Pauillac

produces Cabernet Sauvignon. Lynch-Bages
is today a Bordeaux reference, very strong.

This Lynch Bages 2010 is composed of 79% of Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% of Merlot, 2% of Cabernet Franc and 1% of Petit Verdot.
Its colour is dark, intense and very brilliant.
At the nose it is intense and fresh, with aromas of black fruits.
The attack in mouth is pulpy, with good tannins. The finish is gorgeous and persistant.

Château Lynch Bages 2010 it is the classic style of Pauillac ally to the grandiose of a solar vintage.
