Description
Château Lafite Rothschild 2003 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot)
Millésime marked by exceptional large heats of the first half of August, where high temperatures - about 40 º C - and low rainfall were maintained throughout the growing season.
On the nose, this wine reveals dark layer very ripe red fruits. The palate has a special richness, showing deep and unctuous, with round tannins. Long and persistent finish.
How to serve
The Winery
Château Lafite Rothschild

While the first known reference to Lafite dates back to 1234 with a certain Gombaud of Lafite, abbot of the Monastery of Vertheuil north of Pauillac, Lafite as the existence of Medieval property is documented from the fourteenth century.
