TASTING NOTES:
- View: Château Lafite Rothschild 1978 has a garnet color of medium intensity
- Nose: red fruit aromas with a touch of cedar and brick with impressive clarity and DEFINTION
- Mouth: The palate is medium bodied with a fleshy entry, well calculated and very natural acidity in style. Elegant and feminine, soft, with red berry fruit, cranberry and a hint of bitter chocolate towards the end

Château Lafite Rothschild
While the first known reference to Lafite dates back to 1234 with a certain Gombaud of Lafite, abbot of the Monastery of Vertheuil north of Pauillac, Lafite as the existence of Medieval property is documented from the fourteenth century.
