- View: Château Lafite Rothschild Imperial 1957 is a wine of dark layer.
- Nose: intense, delicate, subtle and complex nose.
- Mouth: precise and very clear in the beginning that then acquires breadth and volume resulting in very round palate sensations. Very powerful, very persistent and density, very elegant.

While the first known reference to Lafite dates back to 1234 with a certain Gombaud of Lafite, abbot of the Monastery of Vertheuil north of Pauillac, Lafite as the existence of Medieval property is documented from the fourteenth century.
