Château Haut Batailley

The history of Château Haut Batailley: Batailley Part of the castle until 1942, Haut-Batailley that year became the property of Madame de Brest-Borie, the sister of Jean-Eugene Borie, who managed the vineyard and make wine worthy of the known that the vineyard has enjoyed since the mid-eighteenth century. The farm does not have any castle. The wines are now made by the owners of the castle Ducru Beaucaillou, who are cousins.

You will not find this Château Haut-Batailley Imperial in any supermarket.
Amazing cherry colour. Clear notes of toffee. I liked the taste of blackberries in this Château Haut-Batailley Imperial.

I bought it on a visit at the winery, it's difficult to get.
It has a dense colour. Very good aromas of vanilla. A Pauillac with a very good acidity.

It has a nice colour. A good smell of flowers, mostly purple colour. It was vinegary.
It was good to accompany the main course.
Only the 2014 is worth.

I usually preserve Château Haut-Batailley Imperial for special people.
Wonderful cherry colour and high layer. This red wine has a chestnut background. Well balanced.
I do not recommend pairing this red of Château Haut Batailley with meat.
