Château Haut Batailley

The history of Château Haut Batailley: Batailley Part of the castle until 1942, Haut-Batailley that year became the property of Madame de Brest-Borie, the sister of Jean-Eugene Borie, who managed the vineyard and make wine worthy of the known that the vineyard has enjoyed since the mid-eighteenth century. The farm does not have any castle. The wines are now made by the owners of the castle Ducru Beaucaillou, who are cousins.

A Pauillac is better to be discovered alone.
Ruby colour with intense hues. Strong aromas of oak and cedar. This Château Haut-Batailley Double Magnum is a wine with good acidity.
I enjoyed it without pairing.

I would highlight the aromas of tobacco. Toasted notes were evident.
If you like wood-flavoured wines, this is perfect.

Cherry red colour with purple edges. Aromas of cherries. The best aftertaste of Pauillac.
This wine improved our meal.
I drank a few glasses at a meal with work colleagues..

The Château Haut-Batailley Double Magnum is the wine I always buy.
Intense ruby red colour, high layer. Mainly strawberry smell. It was not pleasant, it was oxidized.
