TASTING NOTES OF Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2010:
- View: deep red.
- Nose: a wonderful bouquet, great fruit intensity: black currant and a touch of Granada, interwoven with graphite and undergrowth.
- Mouth: medium body, wonderful freshness and vitality, with very concentrated fruit.
APPELLATION: Pauillac.
GRAPES: 83% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Merlot.

The soil is a serious, that is to say alluvial pebbles that ensure excellent water drainage. This gravelly soil has the advantage of keeping the heat and return at night to the vine, eliminating the too big temperature differences and facilitate the harmonious ripening of grapes.
This wine has a deep purple dress with a red and shiny. jammy black fruit flavors explode on the nose, enhancing the ripe grape character while keeping a nice mineral freshness. The whole is enhanced by a touch of spice and flowers. On the palate, the sensations will crescendo: suave,
The final conclusion is that tastes ripe.
A Pauillac with brown edges. Smells of wood. The truth is that I couldn't find any particular flavour.
I had it with cod and potatoes.

- Nose: a bouquet of cassis very mature slightly spicy.
- Mouth: soft first, then increasingly dense, powerful tannic structure. Precise and complex.
