The wine of Château Grand Puy Lacoste is located in the Pauillac appellation. The richness of its soil composed of gravel ridges is a very recognizable pattern, particularly in favor of a high quality viticulture. François-Xavier Borie led the field dice its acquisition in 1978. It has benefited the field of experience alongside his father. Determined, demanding and rigorous him as he hoisted Grand-Puy-Lacoste to the status of "great" Pauillac and ensures everything to keep it there.

TASTING NOTES:
Featuring this estate's classic creme de cassis character as well as a soft, round, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, pure fruit, and silky tannins; approachable young, and should evolve easily for two decades

Grand-Puy-Lacoste is located on the land of Pauillac, one of the eight appellations of the Medoc, on the edge of the Gironde estuary, on the left bank. The Grand-Puy tray is located west of the village, beyond the hamlet of Bages. This field rump (which was once called a "puy") is about 20 meters above the sea.
The soil is a serious, that is to say alluvial pebbles that ensure excellent water drainage. This gravelly soil has the advantage of keeping the heat and return at night to the vine, eliminating the too big temperature differences and facilitate the harmonious ripening of grapes.

This wine has a deep purple dress with a red and shiny. jammy black fruit flavors explode on the nose, enhancing the ripe grape character while keeping a nice mineral freshness. The whole is enhanced by a touch of spice and flowers. On the palate, the sensations will crescendo: suave,

Good coffee aromas. This 2015 is quite like the previous vintage.
The final conclusion is that tastes ripe.

I enjoyed with a good friend of mine.
A Pauillac with brown edges. Smells of wood. The truth is that I couldn't find any particular flavour.
I had it with cod and potatoes.

I drank with my brothers.
The Château Grand Puy Lacoste wine is red ruby colour, and has reddish brown edges. Aromas of oak. I liked the Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, but it tasted a bit rough.
I accompanied the 2012 with steamed vegetables.
