Robert Parker in Wine Advocate: 'Its deep ruby color is accompanied by abundant aromas of black fruits, white chocolate, licorice and flowers. Medium-bodied, expressive, savory, pure and long with sweet tannins, it should drink well for 15 years or more.'

This wine has all the love and all possible techniques to make this wine a perfect wine, flawless. It is the result of a marriage between four grape varieties with predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
The 2011 vintage has a captivating dress. A sustained purple with dark black highlights.
The nose is open facing delicate notes of red fruits such as blackberry and cherry evolving towards grilled and roasted notes.
The palate offers a powerful and fruity attack. A wide mouth, dense with woody and spicy mid-palate. The tannins are fine and silky with good density. The finish is extremely long with woody notes.
A wine with great aging potential.

The year 2011 was one of the warmer, sunnier and, above all, one of the driest of the past four decades. , From the months of April and May, very hot, the vegetative cycle of the vine connnu a good lead: flowering has been recorded as early as May 15 is the earliest date winemaker memory
And veraison began two and a half weeks earlier than normal. , July and August, however, brought an important change: the sun was lower and much higher humidity
In late August, the accumulated rainfall since January 1 was however still only 326 mm against 519 mm on average. , At the beginning of September, the weather was again installed on the Médoc and is under a sun franc that took place two weeks of harvest that started on September 12
These happy climatic conditions have been extremely beneficial in allowing the grapes to reach full maturity
The harvest ended on 28 September. , Low yields, particularly in sheep, produced structured wines, deep and very fresh. , 2011 is therefore a classic Bordeaux vintage, to be classified in the beautiful or very beautiful successes. . . .

They had it in a wine bar .
Brillant ruby red colour, high layer. It has aromas that reminded me of white roses. It would have been better if it had been cooler than it was. Our fault.

Armailhac 2015
I think the best pairing would be with meat. It was a surprise for my best friend.
Almost brown edges. Strong scents of coffee and toffee. I think it was correct.
