Description of Château Croizet-Bages 2014
Château Croizet-Bages 2014 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)
Castillo Croizet-Bages has a very beautiful land on the plateau of Bages, near Lynch-Bages and Grand Puy Lacoste castles. Wedged between Pauillac and Saint-Julien, the plateau of Bages takes its name from the family of the same name who owned during the sixteenth century. This tray has many areas that make all aspects to Lynch Bages whose Bages, Haut-Bages Bages Liberal and Croizet family.
During the first half of the 18th century, the Croizet brothers, one a court clerk and the other a lawyer, acquired a number of small parcels of their neighbours' vines, finally building a remarkable wine property in southern Pauillac. They played an active role in the local government until the Revolution, and then sold the property to Jean de Puyterac from Gascony. Two years before the 1855 classification, a Bordelais called Julien Calvé bought the chateau, when it became known as Calvé-Croizet in Bages.More about the Winery
Reviews of Château Croizet-Bages 2014
Red intense cherry colour and high layer. If you are a fan of red fruit compote, then this wine is perfect for you. It has cute flavours.
Unfortunately, it did not match with food, although the wine was really ok.
The red and violet edges were visible for me. Smelled soft, like cinnamon and vanilla . It has a dense texture.
Strawberry red colour. The outstanding flavour is of red roses, without any doubt.. As I'm not really a fan of red wine, I noticed a plane taste on the palate.
