Château Haut Batailley

The history of Château Haut Batailley: Batailley Part of the castle until 1942, Haut-Batailley that year became the property of Madame de Brest-Borie, the sister of Jean-Eugene Borie, who managed the vineyard and make wine worthy of the known that the vineyard has enjoyed since the mid-eighteenth century. The farm does not have any castle. The wines are now made by the owners of the castle Ducru Beaucaillou, who are cousins.

It was an excellent accompanist for the main course. I usually preserve 12 X Château Haut Batailley for special people.
It has a dense colour. I would highlight the aromas of tobacco. Black plum compote flavours.

The best company for 12 X Château Haut-Batailley is a good conversation.
Red with violet nuances. Smells of hazelnuts and almonds. Very soft.
Unfortunately, it did not match with food, although the wine was really ok.

Best drink paired. Perfect with friends.
Its intense colour attracted me. Good oak smell. Fleshy, smoothy.

It was served together with the appetizer. I like sharing this red Pauillac with someone special.
Classic red cherry color of a 2004. Good coffee aromas. It has a slightly salty final.
