Schramsberg Vineyards North Coast Reserve Champagne Blend 2008
TASTING NOTES: Aromas of red apple, caramelized pear, ripe pear, honey and toasted-almond that gain complexity with touches of toffee, honey and candied pecan. Flavours of baked orange cake, vanilla custard, and shortbread cookie, followed by notes of cinnamon. The palate is rich on entry with a dense structure supported by a long, mouthwatering acidity.

GRAPES: 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay
AGEING: 7 years
PREPARATION: Each bottle is aged in contact with yeast for over seven years. The yeast is then removed and a finishing dosage, determined through extensive and comprehensive trials, is added to fine-tune the wine's balance of flavour.
