View: Selbach-Oster Riesling Spätlese Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Lieblich 2012 presents a medium-intensity green tinged with gold
Nose: aromatic fruit with some notes of cheese and similar to the board.
Mouth: rich tasty apple fruit flavors on the palate. Heartburn is actually a bit lower here than in other wines, but enough refreshing. Good length.

Our assets have much to do with our hands. Since several generations. Since 1660 in our family ownership, as a matter of fact. Our main treasure is simply what nature presents us with: excellent vineyard-sites in the heart of the Mosel region, old, ungrafted vines on steep, south-facing slopes planted on heat-retaining, mineral-rich, rocky slate soil. Granted, these "assets" bring various risks year-in - year-out... but also great opportunities.

The winery Selbach-Oster Riesling traditionally builds only. This Spätlese from the location Zeltinger sundial comes from the steep slopes of the best vineyards around the Mosel. In the glass we see a tightly woven Spätlese from old vines. On the nose, the juicy fruit of Selbach-Oster Riesling Spätlese Zeltinger sundial presents lovely complex and long. The bouquet reveals a herbaceous peach fragrance with citrus notes and cool minerality in the background. The Selbach-Oster Riesling Spätlese appears slim and elegant in the mouth with fine juicy fruit of oranges and grapefruit. Its structure shows sweet and clear with very fine acidity and a distinct mineral note. Conclusion: well balanced and long lasting.

In this Selbach Oster Riesling Spätlese Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Lieblich 2018, the wood dominates the wine flavours.

Selbach Oster Riesling Spätlese Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Lieblich pairs very well with a spicy fish . I tried it on a wine tasting of Riesling wines.
Fantastic colour. It has citrus aromas. Tasty, the ripe fruit with a pleasant presence.
