The hand-harvested Masciarelli Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2014 illustrates the passion Italians have for their wine. The local grape variety, the Montepulciano is the result of this dedication: over the last years, it experienced a meteoric rise in the conservative Italian wine world. This was made possible thanks to the work of Masciarelli among others, who managed to make the most out of his ancestral tradition to produce a wine with a blackberry taste and a spicy character. [1]'s personality is the perfect reflection of a terroir's singularity magnified by a winegrower who understand its varietals.

Reviews of Masciarelli Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2014
I have found it rather fine.
This wine is of a very attractive cherry colour. This Masciarelli Montepulciano D'Abruzzo had good scents of red fruits. It predominated roasted flavours.
