Emidio Pepe Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2015

Emidio Pepe describes it as the wine of the future "for its aging capacity and unparalleled for its strong personality and away from fashion. The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo by Emidio Pepe comes from old vines, most still cultivated with marquee. from the dense and impenetrable ruby red color, it releases notes immediate of black cherry, blackberry and raspberry jam, set of china and spices. fOOD-VINOPerfetto in conjunction with ulterior robust red meat dishes like braised meat and game, is great with cheese. also recommended at the end of a good meal. This wine is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown according to the organic farming method in our hillside vineyard. To keep all the original organoleptic properties unaltered, our wine is not clarified or filtered, so it gratefully accepts a slight deposit. We advise you not to let the wine undergo any thermal locks and taste it at a temperature of 18-20 º C. Pepe wine is produced in a traditional way, respecting the environment.

Emidio Pepe Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2015

Grapes: 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
Alcohol: 14
Temperature: At a temperature of 16 - 18 ° C

Contents: 0, 75 l
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is left to rest for no less than 2 years in the cement, and subsequently, is hand bottled and labeled without being filtered mechanically. Since garnet color convinced maturity: the nose is autumn and experienced, we feel macerated cherries, candied fruit, chestnut and fruit of the rowan; the glass exposes the wine to a slow dissolution, in fact the part exits velvety and sugary that does not yield, but even opens.
On the palate you feel the extreme softness announced the nose, expressive meridionalità accompanies him since birth, wealth leaves us with truffles and tar notes that are part of the well-grafted tannin
Serving suggestions: Perfect combined with roast meat and sheep cheese

Very dark ruby color. Stuffy nose, stinging and blood, instead of revealing its stratification is more enigmatic and interesting. Leaked hints of mineral and china very cool going to melt in the dense feel of cherry liqueur.
The mouth is severe, compact, very rich on the strength of black fruit that almost overwhelms the tactility of the tongue at first taste the length is in part compromised by the feeling of slightly compact tannins, better after a few minutes in the glass, when the energy extends to an exciting final.
