Lungarotti Rosso di Montefalco 2016 (Merlot, Sagrantino and Sangiovese)
- View: Ruby red with violet reflections.
- Nose: Reminds crockery, sweet spices and cinnamon; progression woody notes is elegant, well balanced with a persistent red and fresh fruit.
- Mouth: Good structure and refined freshness acid; Tannin nice, long in the end and with a nice reference to roasted and sweet spices.
GRAPES: Merlot, Sagrantino, Sangiovese
AGEING: 12 months in barrel and 10 months in bottle
PREPARATION: Fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 28 days.

Cherry red colour. Smells good, like a mix of raspberry und strawberry. Strong flavour which reminds me of strawberry candy.
It pairs good with a strong flavoured fish.
