Martell VS is a harmonious, fresh and fruity cognac. The specification "Single Distillery" has been added to communicate that this cognac is assembled with spirits from a single distillery.
Martell Cognac wanted to "age" his cognac and produced something different and young, which still manages to respect the elegance and sophistication typical of the brand. With the ageing of only two years, the Martell VS has beautiful notes of plum, apricot and candied lemon: a beautiful freshness that makes it ideal for cocktails and long drinks.

PRODUCER: Martell is the oldest of the great Cognac houses. It was founded in 1715 under the reign of Louis XIV by Jean Martell, located on the banks of the Charente river. 300 hundred years later, Martell is still there and today it represents one of the most renowned Cognac producers, on both the international and the French market.
PRODUCTION DETAILS: This is a double distilled Cognac, made out of a eaux-de-vie blend, the wines that were removed from the lees. The blend wines are coming from four major zones of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois. The blend wines are clear and fruity which gives the brandy aromas of fruit and flowers. It was aged in Limousin oak barrels for about 5 to 7 years, despite the law only requiring at least two and a half years of barrel ageing for VS Cognacs. Before bottling, filtration is done to avoid any sediments.
Martell Cognac is one of the biggest – and oldest – cognac houses in the world. For more than three centuries, this company has been passing its expertise and passion down through the generations to retain its position in the luxury cognac industry. With its classic Cordon Bleu and Martell VSOP as well as more experimental offerings, this cognac house has a firm foot in the past while looking intelligently towards the future.More about the Producer
