Antoine Jobard Meursault 1st Cru Poruzots 2016 is a dry white wine of the Meursault appellation, produced by Domaine Antoine Jobard, a company specializing in the production of white wines that have become representative of the Burgundy region.
It is made only from Chardonnay grapes of the best quality and, due to careful vinification practices and organic farming methods, it has a very high aging potential that extends between the years 2020 and 2028 (experts recommend waiting at least two years to open it).
In the cellars, Antoine Jobard Meursault 1st Cru Poruzots 2016 is aged for 20 months on its own lees.
Description of Antoine Jobard Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots 2016
Antoine Jobard Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots 2016 (Chardonnay)
- View: bright gold.
- Nose: fine and complex: acacia, hawthorn, granny apple, orange zest, lime and yuzu, sweet caramel, almonds, fresh mint and flint.
- Mouth: good balance between power and voltage, very fresh, citrus. Good persistence, chalk and flint end.
APPELLATION: Meursault Premier Cru Poruzots.
VINEYARD: situated between Les Genevrières and Goutte D'Or, the premier cru Poruzots occupies a beautiful middle position on the hillside, soil of clay and limestone more perfect, very thin (no more than 30 cm), stony and with good sewer system. Ideal east exposure. Deeply rooted vines between 30 and 50 years.
PAIRING: firm-fleshed fish (turbot, sole, Saint Pierre) freshly grilled or with white butter, poultry and sweetbreads.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12ºC
