Pulenta Estate Gran Cabernet Franc Mendoza 2014 (Cabernet Franc)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Deep ruby ​​red.
  • Nose: Great aromatic intensity, fresh and roasted pepper, eucalyptus and pepper.
  • Mouth: friendly and delicate thanks to its soft ripe tannins entrance.

APPELLATION: Mendoza.

VINEYARD: Name: Finca El Chiche.

GRAPES: Cabernet Franc.

AGEING: 18 months in new oak barrels francé.

PREPARATION: Manual harvest in boxes of 18 kg. Manual selection of clusters and grains on shaking table. Fermentation in small stainless steel tanks and barrels. 2 days cold maceration at 8 °C and complete maceration for 21 days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in barrels and tanks.

PAIRING: beef, pork, venison (deer, venison), poultry, tender and creamy cheese.

ALCOHOL: 14.5%

Deep ruby in color, with an intense aroma of roasted pepper, eucalyptus and spice. Its entrance on the palate is sweet and smooth, due to the presence of round and ripe tannins. The wine is aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months, giving the wine an elegant and long finish.
